  This place is right down the block from us in BV.
  
  The food is really fresh and tasty -- superior to your average Chinese joint.
  
  They're currently not delivering, but that won't stop us. I'm heading there now to pick up takeout! 5 stars...

  We've had either been dining in or take out for years from here.  Sometimes as often as four times a month.  Almost always at least every other week.  A while back we noticed the food had been slipping as far as flavor & consistency went.  Well...after a six or seven month lay off we gave it another shot tonight.  I'm sorry to say we wont be back.  portions have shrunk in size and the flavor of everything we purchased was lack luster.  Fried dumplings were steamed & that quarter inch of sauce we got for dipping just didn't measure up to what they used to serve.  Egg rolls were bland & tasted a little freezer burned.  Fried Rice was just less than what we had expected.  I wish them well.  I hope they can get back into their grove.  It really used to be a great little neighborhood spot.

  I am surprised this place isn't busier. I've been here several times while working in the area and it is very slow at lunch

  We had the family meal for 6 and it was delicious.  There was more than enough food for six adults.  
  
  The good: The best egg roll I have had in Virginia.
  The bad: The worst hot and sour soup I have ever had.
  
  The rest of the meal was good to very good.  Most impressive was the size and the amount of the shrimp in the shrimp and vegetables.  The best part was the bill, dinner for six with plenty of leftovers for lunch, six drinks, total bill including tax $80
  
  The place isn't much to look at but the owner/cook/waitress was extremely nice. It felt like we were truly her guests!

  I should have realized that with half the lights off at 7Pm on a Thursday...it might not be a good idea to continue.  But I did...as I had ordered a large pickup order.  The crispy duck was supposed to be the crown jewel of the meal.  My family of 4 was going to enjoy the deliciousness that I had enjoyed as a child growing up.  All of us ate the meal...and fell asleep.
  Until the middle of the night... my wife woke up with terrible stomach pains...and to make a long story short...ended up on the couch for like...8 straight hours...bile and all.  She was the only one to eat the duck.  Everyone else partook in each item.  Thanks Canton.  You suck.  She regrets not stopping when she mentioned the duck tasted "gamey".  Get your shit together.
